At Poptronic VR, we’ve always been passionate about pushing the boundaries of virtual reality, creating unforgettable experiences, and exploring new ways to connect with people through immersive technology. For the past few years, our VR studio in Akwesasne has been a hub for creativity, fun and community engagement, where visitors could escape into fantastic worlds, enjoy interactive experiences, and see the future of immersive entertainment firsthand.

However, as with all great journeys, change is inevitable. With our physical studio closing in Akwesasne, the story of Poptronic VR is far from over.

Why the Shift?

The decision to close our Akwesasne studio wasn’t made lightly. It comes as part of our ongoing commitment to adapt to the changing landscape of the VR industry and meet the evolving needs of our customers. The challenges we faced due to the multiple bridge toll increases and tariffs would have been too overwhelming. And over time, we’ve witnessed a growing demand for more flexible and mobile VR experiences, ones that bring the magic of virtual reality directly to people, wherever they are.

This shift also allows us to expand our reach and impact, enabling us to bring our innovative VR offerings to more communities across Canada. With the flexibility of VR rentals and mobile immersive events, we can provide game-changing experiences to individuals, schools, corporate clients, festivals, and beyond, across Canada!

What’s Next for Poptronic VR?

Though we are bidding farewell to our Akwesasne studio, we are very much looking toward the future with optimism and excitement. Here’s what you can expect from Poptronic VR moving forward:

Our VR rental service continue to allow individuals and organizations to enjoy high-quality virtual reality experiences without the need for a dedicated studio space. Whether you're hosting a party, organizing a school event, or planning a corporate training session, we’ll bring our state-of-the-art VR technology directly to you. With our fully equipped VR setups, you’ll be able to dive into incredible virtual worlds, experience immersive gameplay, or take part in educational workshops - all in the comfort of your own space.

2. Immersive Events and Experiences

We’re continuing to hit the road! Our mobile immersive events will continue to bring innovative experiences to major cities, small towns, and everything in between. We plan to collaborate with local festivals, businesses, and organizations to create unforgettable VR experiences that engage audiences and showcase the potential of virtual reality. From art exhibitions to team-building events and interactive entertainment, our immersive events leave a lasting impression on all who participate.
